About Us
The School of Defence Technology in DIAT was launched in 2020 to impart education and train specially to the DRDO workforce & tri-services into Defence Technology. The school focuses on teaching and research in advanced areas of defence technologies and futuristic technology programs. The school’s focus areas are design, development, testing military weapons and systems, armament, and combat vehicles. Advanced technologies in mechatronics, electro-optics, aerospace engineering, materials engineering, military metallurgy, and high energy materials are pursued. The School of Defence Technology started following Post-Graduate programmes from AY 2022.
